Just Add Ink #331 - Just Add Wings!

Yippee it's Friday and it's challenge time at Just Add Ink!

This week the challenge is to Just Add Wings to your project :)

There are heaps of different things that have wings which you could add to your project however I've gone with a fairly easy one - butterflies!!!!

I've had these 2 little chip board butterflies in my stash for quite a number of years so I thought it was about time I used them!

The combination of these sweet butterflies and all the little hints of glimmer made this a nice wedding card so I added a 'congrats' sentiment.

I'm keen to see how you add wings to your project so please link up here.
You can also check out the creations of the other design team members there too.

I'm going to be taking a little break from the JAI design team until next year.
So I hope that you all continue to play along with the JAI challenges while I'm gone!!

Happy crafting!

Just Add Ink #329 - Inspiration photo

CHALLENGE TIME!!!!

Yep that's right it's time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink! This week we have a vibrant photo to inspire you :)

I've really run with the theme of flowers and also all the beautiful colours!

I've made a type of chocolate slider.

Basically I've used a kitkat, wrapped a piece of DSP around it and then put a rectangle piece of card behind it so that I can write a little message on it. I've then wrapped daffodil delight ribbon around the two and tied a knot at the top!

I'm super keen to see how this photo inspires you so please join in and link up your creation here.

Here's the inspiration photo -

Don't forget to check out what the other Design Team members have created while your over at the Just Add Ink blog.

Just Add Ink #327- Colour Combo

It's colour combo time at Just Add Ink this week!!!

The colours are Soft Sky, Dapper Denim and Calypso Coral.

It's definitely not a colour combination that I'd think of but I really love how the Calypso Coral really pops out off the two blues.

I've used the 'happy' die in Calypso Coral as the main focus on my page.  This card was made with a person in mind who is always happy!!!

You might not be able to see but I couldn't help but spray a little shimmer in the background and the white circle is from some older DSP that has a crisscross pattern on it.

I really hope you get a chance this week to take some time for your self and to do some crafting!!
