Picture Perfect Creations Colour Combo #26

A gorgeous kid I know is celebrating his 10th Birthday this weekend!!!!
When I saw this weeks colour combo at PPC I immediately thought of him as I know he loves red and blue.

I've seen these little flags created on a few other cards so I thought I'd give them a try - I don't think they came out as well as the others I've seen before but they still look cute.

I've used: Paper - Whisper White, Ridinghood Red and Pacific Point
Ink - Pacific Point
Stamp Set - Minni Messages
Other: Nestabilites and Twine

Here is the colour pallet

Very Girly

I had a bit of quiet time to my self last night so I decided to play around and create something very girly.

It took me soooooooooo long to make this and no matter how much I tried everything turned out wonky!

This was the first time I've tried stitching on a card, so I took it really slowly.

I also found something in a stash of old things from my Mama (Grandmother). She was one very crafty lady and could make anything she wanted! The packaging says Fashion Cambric so I'm not sure if this is the company name or if it's what it's called, but it's the white stuff under the pink ribbon.

I've used: Paper - Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Sweet Always DSP
Ink - Pink Pirouette
Stamp Set - Sincere Salutations
Other: Nestabilites, Pink Ribbon, Buttons and Fashion Cambric

Wedding lace

I thought I'd pop in and show you this sweet little wedding card that I made.

I've used a crochet flower that I brought at a craft shop (which isn't nearly as good as the ones my BBF made for me) but then I've used 3 little leaves from a lace curtain that I had lying around!!!!

I think they look really cute and I might have to use them again in future projects :)

Blue.....

I've been feeling a bit blue lately.......

May be it's because it's the middle of winter and I'm craving some warmth?

May be it's because it's been raining and overcast here for a little while?

May be it's because I'm over my day job and want to be crafting all day long?

What ever the reason I decided to buy this lovely pink bunch of flowers to brighten up my day!!!!!

I've used: Paper - Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Parisian Breeze DSP
