Well this week at Just Add Ink the challenge is.....Just Add - Mae Collins, one of my fellow Design Team members.

There were so many cards that I liked when perusing her blog!!

I found this challenge a wee bit challenging as I really don't find it easy to CASE others - but I guess that's why it's called a challenge right? so we push ourselves!

So here is what I came up with.....

Here is Mae's original card that I based my card on (I think hers is much better!)

I've used
Paper - Naturals Ivory, Wisteria Wonder and WW DSP
Ink - Crumb Cake and Concord Crush
Stamp Set - Bliss
Other: Lace ribbon, Twine and Pearls

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning and Happy Mother's day my blogging friends!!

A few weeks ago I held a card making class for a few friends and their Mum's. Of course we made Mother's day cards! The afternoon was so much fun and it's always great to see every bodies creative side come out.

Here's a pic of us and our finished projects :)

We made a card and also a pillow box - based on my project for JAI this week.

Today I'm off to lunch with my Mum and Sister and hopefully the beautiful weather holds out!


Happy Mother's day to all of the Mum's reading and happy Mother's day to one of my bestest friends - my Mummy!

Just Add Ink 116 - Just Add Mother

This week over at Just Add Ink the challenge is to add 'Mother' as Mother's day just around the corner!!
Although it doesn't have to be limited to Mother, you can add any other special woman in your life.

Perfectly timed the challenge was the nudge I needed to get craking on a card for my Mother :)

I also created a matching pillow box for some little chocolates!

I'm having so much fun playing with felt at the moment I just couldn't resist making this cute flower :)

I've used
Paper - Very Vanilla and Pool Party
Ink - Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Versamark
Stamp Set - Well Scripted, Friends Never Fade, Tiny Tags and Elements of Style
Other: Pool Party Seam binding, Twine, Leaf die, Tiny tag punch, Pearls, Felt and MFT Royal Rose diie.
