Just Add Ink have a fun challenge this week of just add Water!!!
Pop on over to the blog to see how we came up with this inspiration idea and how the other design team members have interpreted it!

Just add water can be interpreted in so many ways and I've done it in two ways on my card.

Firstly I've used a stamp that depicts the ocean and I've also used my aqua pen dipped in some ink and then brushed it over my background to create water!

It's  bit hard to see but I've also scored two lines at the bottom of the card just to add a little extra detail with out it being over powering.

Today I had few minutes to play in my craft room and wondered what I should make!
So I headed to a few of my favourite challenge blogs to see what was on offer.

I decided to mesh 3 challenges into one card - Less is more #127, Freshly made sketches #93 and Case Study #148

I tried to make this card clean and simple but I really feel like I need to add more (bling, paper piercing etc) but I resisted and left it as is.....

Happy Friday readers!!

I hope you are excited that it's almost the weekend and you're pumped to play along with the Just Add Ink sketch this week :)

For this card I glued the dsp to some card stock before cutting out the centre.   I did this because I wanted to give it some extra strength as I've popped the whole panel up on dimentionals.

The design team have come up with so many different ways to use this sketch so make sure you pop over to the JAI site and check them out!

Well I'm off traveling for a few days for work so I've schedule this post just to make sure you don't miss out on getting a little bit of inspiration for the Just Add Ink challenge this week.

We've got such a fun inspiration picture for you to use, so pop over and check it out!

I must say that when I first saw the inspiration picture I was pretty unsure of what I should create. There are so many different ways that you can interpret this picture!!

Other than the picture the next starting point for me was the ruffled white ribbon tucked away in the background.  My BFF sent me some lovely happy mail last week and this was part of the beautiful wrapping - it's so cute how could I not reuse it!!! 

I had fun making splotches of champagne shimmer mist and ink for the panel behind the flowers!!

Why hello!

We've had a long weekend here in Australia I've finally had time to play along with a few challenges :) Yippee

Today I played along with the Just Us Girls challenge #192 to use washi tape and the Friday Mashup #113 challenge to make a Girly project. 

I really had fun making this card because it uses my favourite colour - Pink!

I've used
Paper - Whisper White
Ink - Pink Pirrouette, Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo
Stamp Set - Stippled Blossoms
Other: Washi tape, Champagne shimmer mist and Tim Holtz embossing folder
