Hello Hello and welcome to a fun Just Add Ink picture inspiration challenge!

Here in the southern hemisphere we've just come into spring and this inspiration picture is the epitome of spring.

I've tried to capture the essence of the photo with my little bunch of flowers.

I recently purchased this 'happy' die and I thought it would be perfect for this happy spring card :)

Just Add Ink #276 - Just Add Males

Well what a week in my house.... NO INTERNET!!!!!! What???? I hear you say!

We had such trouble with our provider this week and it was such a pain - who would have though that I used the internet so much.

It's all sorted and now I can finally get my Just Add Ink post up.

This week at Just Add Ink the challenge is to just add Male's to our creations.  I totally admit I'm a girly girl and I love all things flowery and pink so I find male cards super hard to make.

This challenge has come at a great time for me with Father's Day just around the corner as well as 4 male birthday's!!!  (one of whom is today - Happy Birthday Gorgeous Kid!!) 

I totally forgot to get a snap of GK's card so for the Just Add Ink challenge this week I have a card that I made for another awesome male who had a birthday on the weekend and actually I haven't posted this one to him yet - whoops! 

The (soon to be) recipient of this card loves participating in events like Tough Mudder so I though the little splash of mud in the background and earthy tones of this card would really suit him!

This week at Just Add Ink we've got a modern inspiration picture to get your creativity going!!

I originally envisioned my card to have lot of white and craft with only a hint of grey and black.  I part made about 4 cards before I settled on this one!!!

I made this card with a someone in mind who recently achieved a huge goal!!

Just Add Ink #272 - Just Add Butterflies

This week at Just Add Ink we are just adding BUTTERFLIES!

I had so many ideas on how I could add butterflies to my card this week, in fact I did make a couple of cards but they all weren't a challenge for me.... so I decided to really challenge my self and make a one layer card!!!!

I embossed my butterflies with cherry cobbler and white and in real life the butterflies look really shiny :)

I really like this sentiment as it can be used for so many different occasions.

Just Add Ink #268 - Sketch

It's almost the weekend - yippee!

The bubba, my Mum and I are heading on a little road trip tomorrow and it will be about 5 hours driving all up (there and back).  It's a lot of driving for one day and I hope my wee little one behaves and doesn't get too bored.  I must say I'm a bit nervous about being out for the whole day and not being able to let bub have a good sleep, of course he will sleep for some of the time in the car but that still doesn't make up for a nice big sleep in his cot.


Anyway onto the reason why we are here.... the sketch challenge this week at Just Add Ink.

I was really looking forward to working with this sketch and I had quite a few ideas in my mind but I couldn't translate any of them onto paper!
Arrrggg how frustrating!!!

After making a few different cards I finally settled on this card for a lovely couple who've just had their first baby!

I added a little sparkly heart for a little bling :)

The Design team have created some BEAUTIFUL cards this week and I'm so envious that they nailed this sketch!!!!!
