Sweet Sunday Sketch 204

Hello Hello!

Guess what????  The long weekend meant I had a little bit of time yesterday to create a card using the Sweet Sunday sketch.  Yippee!!

I hope you found a little time to play a long too.

I literately received some new DSP that I had to try out sooooo this sketch was the perfect opportunity.

I'm loving the bright colours and the geometrical patterns so I dare say you'll be seeing more cards using this paper!!

Also I FINALLY had time to play with the clay and molds from Stampin' UP! - they didn't turn out the greatest.... does anyone have any tips for using it?
If you do I'd love to hear them!

Here's the Sweet Sunday Sketch

Just Add Ink #199 - Sketch

Hello lovely readers!

Have you gotten back into the swing of things in the craft room? Got your new year mojo on?

I know I haven't had much time to craft lately but when I sat down to use this sketch made by Tina for the latest Just Add Ink sketch challenge I found my card came together very easily!

I was so in the groove that I also made a matching envelope with my new envelope punch board!

Seriously this is a fantastic sketch to work with so you don't have any excuses not to play along with us this week!

The rest of the Design team also had a fun with this sketch giving you such a such a variety of creations to gt inspiration from.

Here's the sketch:

Enjoy your Friday!
PS Don't forget to check out Just Add Ink's new look if you haven't seen it already.

Just Add Ink #198 Blog Hop!

You've reached the last stop on the Just Add Ink blog hop!

This week the challenge at JAI is to play along with our blog hop inspiration using your envelope punch board or thinlets!

You should have arrived from Tina's blog - wasn't her album fantastic!

For the blog hop I've used the envelope punch board to make a gift box and a envelope!
It's was my Mum's 60th Birthday recently so this was the perfect opportunity to spend the morning in the craft room and make something extra special for her.

A simple card with no fuss lets the 60 stand out!

I followed the instructions on the envelope punch board to make this envelope however I used a tutorial here for the envelope liner.

The box I made to put her present in was made  with the guidance from this tutorial on pintrest!
I did modify it for this size I needed but other than that I couldn't believe how easy it was to make a box with the envelope punch board.

I hope you've had fun on the Blog Hop and just in case you didn't come from the beginning here is the list of all the stops -

Thanks for hopping along with the JAI blog hop and the first challenge of 2014.  The Design Team are all looking forward to seeing your creations so don't forget to link them up!

Just Add Ink 2013 a year in review!

Well didn't 2013 go fast!

There was heaps going on last year and I didn't get to craft as much as I would have liked to but luckily I had some inspirational challenges from Just Add Ink to keep me going.

So I've had a look over all my JAI projects for 2013 and picked my favourite!

I really loved how this card came out - girly but not overpowering girly!!!

The colour combo challenge I used for this card was the perfect entry back into my crafting room after I'd been busy starting a big renovation on my home (that is still underway!)

We'd really love to see your favourite project from 2013 so please link up here!

JAI will be hosting it's first challenge of 2014 on the 17th of January so don't forget to pop back then to check it out :)
