So what did I make with my new power tool??

In my last post I showed you my new power tool and I promised to show you what I created with it!

I've been looking around for paper storage for my 12 x 12 sheets.
There are so many choices and I've been umming and aaahhing about what to choose.... vertical... horizontal......ect.

I've been quite envious of the storage BFF had custom made for her a few years ago -you can get a glimpse here.
So everything I've looked at since then just hasn't compared and I can't find anything like it in the stores.

So I decided to create my own!!!

Here I am hard at work using the new jigsaw, cutting my side panel to size.

Notice my work safety approved shoes!!!

Here are my draws almost completed.... just needing a good paint

And here they are in there new home all painted and filled with paper.

So it was my first go at making anything like this and there are few little quirky characteristics to it that I love and hate - but I'm proud as punch to have made this from scratch and it works!!!!

Other: Green Embossing powder, Twine, Half and Half die and In Bloom impression plate both from PTI

Just Add Ink 79 - Distressing/Tearing

OMG you won't believe what has happen to me this week!!!

I slipped over in our kitchen/laundry area and while going down I took out the bins, the cat food bowl and made a hell of a noise. I really hurt my foot and got some ice onto it straight away. However the next day I wasn't feeling so great and headed of to the doctors... well turns out I gave my head a bit of a bigger bump that I realised because I've got concussion!!!

So I've been at home resting for most of the week as I've found it frustrating to do many things - like crafting!!

I made this card earlier this week so I'm going to blame my concussion on the lateness of my JAI entry.........
The challenge was to Distress or Tear!!

I made this cute little flower with a heart punch and just stuck them all together!!

I've used:
Paper
-Whisper White,
Old Olive, Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo DSP
Ink -
Old Olive
Stamp Set -Signature Greetings from PTI
Other: Dizzy Doily by Die-Namics, Pink pearls, Seam Binding, Pink button and Twine

Phew... writing this post took me a while.... back to something using a little less brain power!!!

Mouth watering......

I was reading A-M's blog post yesterday and if you scroll to the very bottom of the post you'll see something that looks DELICIOUS!!

That gorgeous chocolate treat got my mouth watering.... she said it was the most delicious thing she's ever eaten!! I knew I had to try it and to make things even better the place, Les Bon Choix is just around the corner from my work.

I popped in this afternoon to pick one up but to my utter disappointment they had sold out for the day *insert sad face here*

But I just couldn't walk away empty handed, there were so many yummy looking treats in the cabinet. They were all just screaming "take me home Trishy"

This was the first beauty that took my eye.... look at those perfect layers!

And I just couldn't go past this magnificent looking chocolate one

T and I ate them for dessert tonight and let me say.... they were both just divine!
But my favourite bit was the chocolate balls on top of the chocolate one - YUMMO

What a wonderful way to start the weekend.
Tomorrow I'm off to the fruit and veg markets in the morning with Mum. Hate the early wake up to get there but love the freshness of the beautiful produce. Then I'll be crafting with BFF for the afternoon - woohoo.

I'd love to hear what you're up to this weekend so leave a comment and let me know.
XOXOX
