Sunday Flowers

Last weekend Mum and I went to the local flower markets.

It was so lovely to just wander around, look and smell all the beautiful flowers. Ever time I go there I am amazed to find flowers I have never heard of or seen before.

I was hoping to find some of the first Peonies (my favourite) for the season however they had sold the few bunches they received.

Instead I bought these bright and cheery flowers! They are huge - I'm not joking the biggest ones are the size of dinner plates!!

They have been cheerily sitting on my dining table and I can't help but smile every time I walk past them!!

It's amazing how having a bunch of flowers in the house just lifts your mood.

I'd love to know what your favourite flowers are!

Hope you are having a relaxing Sunday.

Bliss

Hi Everyone!!

BBF and I are just cyber crafting at the moment - I've just created this card using The Paper Players sketch.

This colour combo is way out of my usual style!!! I wanted to use the Mocha Morning DSP and when I was cutting it up I thought this luxurious paper would look stunning with red!!!

I've used:
Paper
-Mocha Morning DSP, Basic Black and Real Red

Ink -
Versamark and Cherry Cobbler embossing poweder
Stamp Set - Bliss
Other: Red Flowers, Oval punch and Lots of tags label 2

Here is the sketch

I'll be back soon to show you some massive flowers that I bought at the markets!

Hugs and Kisses

Fit for the Queen?!

Today I've created a card using the layout from Just Add Ink and the colour combo from The Play Date Cafe.
It's the Play Date's 2nd anniversary challenge this week - I don't often get to play along with their challenges as much as I would like to. I really love the inspiration photos that accompany the colour combo this week!!!!!

I think these colours make a pretty feminine card (with out using any pink!!)

If you want any details about this card just shoot me an email.

Here is the Sketch (I've used it on its side)

And here is the colour combo

PS I saw the Queen today - not very close BUT I still saw her!!!!

First Christmas card for the year :)

I'm having a few ladies over tomorrow for a crafty afternoon!! I'm super excited :)

I really enjoy sharing my love for paper craft with others!

Since we are getting closer to Christmas I thought we'd make a Christmas card. I've CASED Kristina's card from here. As soon as I saw her card I knew I had to try and recreate it - it's just lovely!!
And it's also fairly easy for the lady's to try.

This card also fits in with The Paper Players challenge this week of a Christmas theme with the colours of red and green. So I'm linking up there.

If you want any details about this card just email me.

Only 24hrs till everyone arrives for my crafty afternoon - YAY!

Ribbon love

BFF and I had some fun cyber crafting times on Saturday afternoon and I decided to play along with the Inkspirations sketch 91!!

I'd just been to the local craft store that morning and while I was there I picked up this amazing ribbon!!! Sooooo I just had to include it on something straight away :)

Don't you think it's just so divine???

It reminds me of a tutu.... so I think it looks like my card is wearing one!!

If you want any details for this card just email me.

Hope you have had a great weekend

Dreaming.....

Oh how I love this bike........ I'd love to own one.........

I've got a bike that has the same colourings but it's a real road bike (which has sadly been in the shed for way to long)

I want a cruiser like this one

Image cutesy of Ivy and Piper's latest mag

I love the little splashes of pink - on the wheels and handle bars........

I love the basket at the front.........

I love the mud guards.........

I love the curves......

Oh I might just pull up the covers and go back to sleep so I can keep dreaming of her :)

Happy weekend
XOXOXO
