Just Add Ink #305 - Sketch challenge

We've got a great sketch challenge at Just Add Ink this week!!!

We'd really love to see how you use the sketch and just in case you need a little inspiration, pop over to the Just Add Ink blog and check out what the other design team members have created :)

This is my card -

I've created an open front on my card with the sentiment in the middle which is visible from the front.

The 3 panels of the Birthday Bouquet DSP hold the front of two pieces of the card together.

I really love this DSP!
I find it hard to use it because I want to keep it forever but I've got loads of DSP that I've kept for 'the perfect occasion' and then never used it - any one else do the same??

Here's the sketch for this week -

I hope you all had a lovely break over Easter and you are now refreshed and ready to get crafty!!!

Just Add Ink #303 - Just add E

This week at Just Add Ink we have an interesting challenge - just add E!
That could be anything that starts with the letter E.... sooooo many possibilities :)

I've gone with the obvious choice for this time of year and added an Easter sentiment to this card.

I've picked an Autumn colour combo of yellow, red and orange for my flowers :)

The sentiment is stamped in a gold!
I really like the layout of this card and think I might make a few more but with a birthday sentiment instead.

It would be super awesome to see what E you add to your card, so don't forget to link up here.

Hope you have a happy Friday.
xo

P.S. BIG shout out to my BFF - I hope you have a wonderful weekend xox

Just Add Ink #301 - just add numbers

It's challenge day at Just Add Ink and this week we are asking you to add numbers to your creation!!!

To me this challenge was fairly easy at first glance however I wanted to create an extra special card for this this extra special birthday so my card took a little bit of planning and a bit more time than I originally thought.

I wanted the colours to be soft and sweet so I thought this DSP would be perfect.

So to make this an extra special card I decided to make a fancy fold 'lever' card.  I've only ever seen lever cards with a square front so I decided to change it up a little and make a circle instead.

I'm pretty happy with the way it's turned out and the only thing I think I'd change is to add a little more colour to the inside with perhaps a coloured piece of cardstock.

Hopefully the birthday girl will like it :)

You should see the other 'number' creations the design team have come up with and then link up yours here!

Happy crafting.
