This Friday at Just Add Ink we've got a cool sketch challenge for you to try out!!

Many of you are attending the Stampin' UP!convention next week so this challenge will run for two weeks, giving you time to enter.

While I'm not attending convention this year I am popping down to the Gold Coast to see all the JAI Design Team - I'm soooo looking forward to seeing them :)


Anyway onto my card for this week -

I've used a little bit of vellum over the grey DSP to soften it a little as I thought it took the focus away from the rest of the card.

I sprayed the 40 with simmer mist and I also daubed the yellow flowers to give them a little depth.

Oh my! I LOVE the colour combo challenge this week at Just Add Ink!!!!
Blackberry Bliss, Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo :)


I made this cute little birthday pack for a cool 17 year old girl!  I thought it was modern with a touch of girly-ness.

I'm loving the B.Y.O.P stamp set and coordinating thinlit die!  Perfect for teenagers who are so hard to buy for.

Here's a close up of the card so you can see the sliver simmer spray for and added touch of bling!!!

Quick Challenge play - Just Add Ink

I had a few minutes to myself so I thought I'd find a challenge to play along with!

I looked all over blog land but I kept coming back to the inspiration photo that Narelle picked at Just Add Ink!!

I found this card and technique on Pinterest and I just had to try it out!  I've CASed Shannon's card but changed a few little details to make it my own. 

The colours I've used are Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sahara Sand and Metallic Gold.
