It's been forever since I played along with the Inkspiration challenges and with a little bit of time on my hands to do a little crafting it was the perfect excuse to play.

I found some B E A U T I F U L paper at my local craft shop, it's 'Rosalee' Madeline Collection and I couldn't wait to use it!!!

Ink - Baja Breeze and Early Espresso
Stamp Set - Whimsical Words and Holiday Label #14 by Waltzingmouse Stamps

These yummy looking delights are the inspiration we are to use for this weeks challenge at the Lollipop Ladies. We've also been asked to add in the extra challenge of gloss!!!!

Not sure if you can see but I've glossed up the leaves with some Crystal Effects.

I've used:

BFFs Birthday Card

As some of you may know it was my BFF's Birthday last week!!! I wanted to make a card that was fun, girly, playful, bright and cheery. As well as use one of her favourite colours -light green.

It was a bummer I couldn't be there but it sounds like she had a great day though - very spoiled!

Rainy Sunday

It's been raining here in Brisbane for the weekend and I was hoping to get out into the garden (or should I say jungle) and do some much needed weeding.

I'll have to find something else to do today.....perhaps some crafting..... I wish!!!

I've got sooooooo much house work to catch up on as I've been away for the past two weekends.

But what I really feel like doing is curling up on the lounge with a warm blanket and watching a good movie or two.

Lollipop Ladies Challenge 16

Remember those yummy lolly necklaces and bracelets you wore as a kid?? Well they are the inspiration at the Lollipop Ladies this fortnight - they bring back so many nice childhood memories.

They've also thrown in the extra challenge of using circles!

So I took the colours of yellow and pink from the necklaces and paired them up with Circle Circus and presto here is what I came up with.

I really don't enjoy making male cards as much, I find them such a challenge. Do you find them a challenge? I guess I just need more practice.

I'm really happy with the first and third cards but not so sure about the middle one....perhaps because I don't usually work with orange??

Just a quick little post to say 'Hi All!!!'

I've got lots of blogs to catch up on since I've been away and I can't wait.

Here's a picture of T and I at the wedding on Saturday. He was the best man and made a fantastic speech.


Lucky it was reasonably warm on the day because it was soooooooo much colder down there compared to Brisbane!!!!

Ok I'm off for a few hours of blog reading. I'll be back later in the week when I have some time to sit down and make something to show you.

I'm off to a wedding in Canberra this weekend so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make the card. (I'm very excited to see my BFF when I'm down there too!!)
