We'd really love to see how you use the sketch and just in case you need a little inspiration, pop over to the Just Add Ink blog and check out what the other design team members have created :)
This is my card -
I've created an open front on my card with the sentiment in the middle which is visible from the front.
The 3 panels of the Birthday Bouquet DSP hold the front of two pieces of the card together.
I really love this DSP!
I find it hard to use it because I want to keep it forever but I've got loads of DSP that I've kept for 'the perfect occasion' and then never used it - any one else do the same??
Here's the sketch for this week -
I hope you all had a lovely break over Easter and you are now refreshed and ready to get crafty!!!
This DSP is gorgeous Trish and I love your idea of peek-a-boo card. I'll also put up my hand to join DSP hoarders anonymous ;) Have a good weekend. xxx
ReplyDeleteI have to agree that this dsp is pretty darn gorgeous - I love the deep green and pink combo. As you well know, I too am a hoarder of beautiful paper :)
ReplyDeleteLove your open front card (I received one of these from Jan some time ago). It's a lovely shows off that lovely sentiment perfectly. xx
Yes, I too absolutely adore this DSP Trish and the way you have used it here! The dark green base and subtle stamping are a fabulous contrast to the soft pinks and the open panel is such a striking design and works so beautifully here! xx
ReplyDeletePS..yes, definite paper hoarder...though I did manage to load the recycle bin with at least some very long retired colour pieces this week - so maybe experiencing a small amount of rehab lol :-)
Oh wow! This card is just stunning Trish - those colours are just gorgeous together and I love your fold with the sentiment showing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever card front! Lovely creation. :)
