Happy Friday!
We're just about to start our second long weekend in a row - woohoo!
Last weekend we went camping and had a blast but this weekend we'll be doing a whole lot of relaxing :) What are your plans for the weekend?
Anywho back to the reason we are here - it's Just Add Ink challenge time.
This week we have a lovely inspiration photo which is at the bottom of my post.
I took things quite literally and created the same grey background, included some chevrons and used the same colours.
I added a layer of vellum which I white embossed onto. I think this helped make my background of splatters and chevrons quite crisp!
There are quite a few elements in this photo that you could use for inspiration so please link up your card here so I (and the other design team members) can check it out :)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend no matter what you get up too!!
How to Get the Look of a Nancy Meyers Kitchen

I have always loved the cozy timeless homes featured in Nancy Meyers movies
such as Father of the Bride and Something's Gotta Give and It's
Complicated. To...
This card makes me smile. I love how crisp the white embossing on vellum is, and the little pops of colour in your flowers is so pretty. The grunge looks fabulous. It all pulls together beautifully. I love it. xxx
ReplyDeleteYou know I never even registered there was a dark grey background Trish but its stunning. The flowers really looks so fresh and bright! Enjoy your relaxing weekend. xxx
