Happy Friday!

I swear it's baby season - so many people I know are having babies at the moment and they are all first time mums.

The sketch this week at Just Add Ink was the perfect inspiration I needed to create a quick card for a new little bundle that has just arrived.

I had fun mixing my real washi tape with my stamped tape!!!

Just Add Ink 185 Colour Combo

Hello Lovelies!

Gosh I can't believe it's been so long since I've been here on  my blog.  I've been renovating my house and haven't been able to get into my craft room or had the time to craft!

Finally I was able to move some things around so I could participate in this weeks colour challenge at Just Add Ink.

I've use a new set of stamps called Simple Sketched that hadn't seen any ink yet!  I really love this set and can see it will get heaps of use in the future.

Here is the colour combo this week (I accidentally used whisper White instead of Very Vanilla - whoops!)

Yippee it's Friday!!

This week at Just Add Ink we've got a fun sketch for you to play along with :)

I had so many ideas when I saw this sketch as I'd just received some new goodies to play with. It made it very hard to make any decisions about what would actually make it onto the card!

The photo makes this look very redish however it's really quite pink on real life.

I really love the silver embossing, it adds such a nice sparkly pop!

Just Add Ink #177 - Colour Combo

Today is the day - yep it's Just Add Ink challenge day!!!!!

This week we've got a great colour combo of Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Calypso Coral.  It was such a lovely and soft colour combo with a pop of brightness :)

I used my star punch to cut out some star shapes on my Smoky Slate and then I cut out some smaller stars out of my glitter paper to pop up in the middle!

The sentiment is a little hard to see in this picture but is much clearer IRL.

Just Add Ink 175 sketch

Doesn't time fly! I can't believe it's that time of week again - Just Add Ink challenge time!!!!

Mae's given us a fantastic sketch to play with and I had fun paying with my goodies from Stampin' UP!'s new catalogue.

I stamped the sentiment tag in Crisp Cantaloupe and cut out the 'something' and popped it up on dimensionals which ties in with the ruffled ribbon..... have I mentioned how much I love the ruffled ribbon!!!!

I've used
Paper - Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Crisp Cantaloupe
Ink - Crumb Cake and Crisp Cantaloupe
Stamp Set - Chalk Talk and Gorgeous Grunge
Other: Crisp Cantaloupe ruffled ribbon, Seam binding and a paper clip
