You might remember a little while a go I went to the Brisbane Scrapbook Expo and I bought my first Copics!!!!
I've been hesitant to use them but I've have had a little play... see the image below.
So becuase I've been a bit usnsure I decided to enrol in a Copics course run by my local scrapbook store.
I'm attending 1 night every fortnight for 6 weeks (so 3 classes). The course goes for 2 hours each night. I went to my first class on Thursday and it was so much fun!!! I was given soooooooo much information and there are so many techniques to learn. I had no idea you could do so many things with Copics. It's fantastic that it's being held over a few nights so that I can go home and practice and if I think of any questions to ask I can the following session. Also included in the price is 6 Copics - so I need to decide which ones I want to get next!
I'll show you some of my practice pieces as we go a long but for now here is what I've done before I started the course. You can let me know as I go if you think I'm improving (fingers crossed I do!)
