Birthday weekend away

Well I was surprise by T this weekend with trip away for 2 nights with my mum to Stanthorpe!! (the wine capital of Queensland)

Unfortunately T had to go away for the weekend and he didn't want me to be alone for my birthday so he organised accommodation over looking the vines and a day winery tour all as a big surprise for my birthday!!!!!!!

So I thought I'd share some of the pictures with you.............

WOW did I have a hard time with the colour challenge Megan gave us this week at PPC.

I'm not really sure I like what I came up with because I'd never normally use these colours together.

This week at Just add ink they have a theme challenge which is 'Sympathy'. I always try and keep my sympathy cards fairly simple.

This card was very quick to put together and I've used one of my favourite colours, So Saffron!

Picture Perfect Creations Colour Combo #30

I've finally got some of the new colours from the newest Stampin UP! catty. But I'm still waiting on a few others to be sent to me - can't wait to have them all!

At PPC this week the colour combo is just beautiful and I was able to use some of my new colours, Boho Blossom punch and the matching stamp set!!!!

I'm still a little unsure if I really like Pear Pizzaz but I think it's growing on me................



I made another card that is very similar but a little different.... I'm not sure which one I like better......

Ink - Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizazz and Bashful Blue

Holiday Photos

About a month ago I went on holidays and I said I'd share the photos with you.

T and I took a little road trip out to St George which is about 5ookms west from Brisbane. So we ended up driving over 1200kms on our (little) road trip.

There was lots of red dirt roads...............


and with dirt roads comes dust.......


We saw lots Cows......

And some Emu's........


This was the river at St George.....


It was nice to get away into the outback away from the city life.

Just take our time and breath in the fresh air.


I hope you all have time to get away from time to time and relax.

Well Megan at PPC has given me a challenge this week.

When I looked at the colour combo for this week I thought 'Yep this will be easy'........boy was I wrong. Firstly my new colours haven't arrived from SU! yet so I had to use the old colours. Then when I sat down to make it I think I tried about 100 different combinations before I settled on this one, and even then I'm still not happy.

I think some one has stolen my mojo............ 'Mojo, come back Mojo'

If anyone finds it can you please pass it back to me, pretty please!

New Catty........

Gosh I've been away from blogging for a lot longer than expected! Things have been hectic here since returning from a little holiday.

But I really wanted to tell you all how excited I am about the new Stampin UP! catty that was released today..... there are so many divine new colours and some beautiful stamp sets.

To celebrate the new release I'm heading out to Adelisa Designs launch party. I'm very excited to be going as Adele and Lisa will be letting us play with some of the new products :)
