When I saw the inspiration image at Pals Paper Arts this week I swooned!!
The desk is so beautiful and I loved the colours of white, blue and craft together.
So here is my take - I used the colours for my inspiration and I thought the room looked a little beachy so I guess the boat fits in to!
I've had the Sail Away stamp for a while now but it hasn't seen any ink till now- I thought that would never happen but time gets away from you!!!
I've used:
Paper -Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Marina Mist
Ink - Crumb Cake and Marina Mist
Stamp Set - Sail Away and Birthday Sentiments by Amy R
Other: Embossing folder and thick twine

I think you're right...the room does look like a beach house, so your take on it is perfect! I love the twine and those soft wave like swirls.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful elegant card Trish and a gorgeous take on the inspiration pic!! :))
ReplyDeleteGreat summertime card. Love the thick twine. Thank you for playing along with Pals Paper Arts.
ReplyDeleteThe swirly embossing, and use of twine, finish off the card beautifully Trish - love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Christine...that swirly embossing suits your image so perfectly. The twine is the perfect touch too. Great masculine card!
