Whoopie Pies - nom nom noms!

I was inspired by this post over at Kit and Nancy to make Whoopie Pies!!

What is a Whoopie Pie I hear you ask...... I think this description sums it up very well -

Whoopie pies are like the best part of a cupcake squished into one delicious sandwich. That would be the top of the cupcake and the frosting, of course.


Now I'm not the best baker in the world and I did make a few mistakes (like putting in double the amount of sugar!!) so they didn't turn our nearly as pretty as I'd hoped.
BUT they did taste amazing!!!



I had heaps of fun making a big mess in the kitchen, it was quite relaxing!

I made two batches, one chocolate and one carrot cake.
Head over to Kit and Nancy and check out the carrot cake recipe (It's delicious) and try it for your self!!!

    Yummmmmo! I'm yet to try a whoopie pie. Keep seeing them around the traps. Think I'll wait until I'm up your way and try one of your yummy baked treats.

    I love these! My daughter and I make the chocolate ones with marshmallow cream inside. YUM!
