Rainy day calls for an umbrella!

I made this card just before Christmas for a friend who had some pretty major surgery.  I've been lazy and haven't posted it before now... but I think the timing is perfect given all the rain we have had here in Brisbane!!!

I've used a cute little Pure Innocence girl 'My Umbrella' from My Favorite Things.

I've used:
Paper -Daffodil delight, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper white and Greenhouse Gala DSP
Ink - Daffodil delight and Copics
Stamp Set - My Umbrella
Other: Daffodil Delight ribbon, paper flower, pearls and Nestabilites 

I hope you have a lovely weekend planed. Mine starts with breakfast out tomorrow with my favourite people in the world :)

Ohhh I've just had my first class back at yoga in 4 weeks! Boy am I buggered..... I'm sure I'll also be sore the for the next few days :)

I haven't spent much time in the craft room over the holidays and I needed to get some inspiration for this card to get going...... so for this Thank you card I've used 2 challenges!

First card for 2012

HAPPY 2012 everyone!!!!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at my craft desk and I decided that I wouldn't play along with any challenges and I'd just play around and make what ever came to be.... and this is what I made....

I had fun using my copics with two new turquoise colours that I picked up while on holidays.

Today I'm off to the beach for the last day of my holidays before I have to return to the day job tomorrow.
