It's FRIDAY!! Woohoo!
And Friday means a new challenge at Just Add Ink.
The challenge this week is just add Kids! How much fun are kids cards to make? I know I love to use brighter colours and enjoy being a bit more playful :)
I really wanted to use the 'I dig you' stamp set but all the vehicles were facing the same way and I needed one to face the other way. So I decided to stamp them all on vellum and then flip one the other way!
(sorry about this picture it's a bit wonky!)
I've used
Paper - Basic Grey, Whisper White and Vellum
Ink - Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade and Basic Black
Stamp Set - I dig you
Other: Twine
You should see the fun kiddies cards that the other Design Team members have created - pop over check them out and don't forget to show us your take on the kid theme!!
Very clever way to reverse your image and the final result looks great. Love these gorgeous little trucks and tractors. x
ReplyDeleteYou are a clever one! That is such a cool way to reverse an image and the soft ink effect it creates looks lovely. A very cute card Trish and thanks to you & Tina, this is now on my wishlist too! xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh Trish you clever girl. Love your idea - I'll tuck that away to pull out sometime for sure! Love the three panel design looks fantastic :)xxx
ReplyDeleteI love it, Trish! I, too, am very impressed with the technique you used to create your 'reversed' image. We could all benefit from being a bit more playful in our crafting, from time to time - thanks for the reminder! Great kid's card :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great boy's card Trish and I love your idea of using vellum and flipping it. Had never thought of that! Doh!
ReplyDeleteOoooh this is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time doing little boy cards some times.. But this is brillant!
Thanks for the inspiration.
