When ever I'm unsure about what DSP to use I always turn to polka dots. They suit any type of card whether it be a masculine or feminine card.
This card was fairly quick to make and it was a great way to use up some smaller pieces of card stock and dsp that I had.
The rhinestones added a special little sparkle that the card needed!
I've got a busy weekend ahead with interstate guests and birthday celebrations for my other half so I doubt I'll have any time for crafting! However I hope you'll get some time to check out the inspiration from the Design Team members over at JAI and enter in your Polka Dot creation.
Happy Friday

Great use of leftover DSP and cardstock. I really like the increase in sizing of banner and butterfly. Is the colours also increasing in density too?
ReplyDeleteEyecatching card Trish! Totally agreee that polka dots would have to be the most versatile pattern around :) Love how you used the butterflies to finish off each banner. Hope you enjoy your busy weekend. xxx

Love the use of these DSPs and matching butterflies Trish! Beautiful CAS card!
ReplyDeleteVery striking Trish, love the multi shades of red polka dots, it looks so effective, especially finished off with the cute co-ordinating butterflies.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge idea too..:0) I think everyone loves "Polka dots & Spots" in some form.xxx
It's a gorgeous card Trish. Polka dots are my go to dsp as well. You have made a wonderful card with just a few simple strips of it. Well done!
