I was reading through my old posts recently and found this one, it's about the very first market that my BFF and I went to. She sold her cards and I sold my cushions.
It was a very fun and exciting experience that I really think helped us forge our friendship. We'd only just met a few weeks before when I practically forced her to sell her beautiful cards with me!!We did a few markets together, some successful some not but we had so much fun at each one!
Then she started so slowly unravel the wonders of paper craft and Stampin' UP! to me............. at I was really impressed by what she created but I didn't think it was for me. But her persistence paid off. I think the thing that totally hooked me was when she showed me heat embossing, I was amazed at what was happening right before my eyes!!!!
From then on I've been a devoted paper crafter and I think I always will be.
So thanks P for so many things, but most of all thanks for being my best friend - MWAH XOX
Oh, I loved learning a little bit more about you and Patrice, Trish; this is a great post. Boy, you looked cold at that market!! Thanks for sharing your trip down memory lane :)
ReplyDeleteOMG we were so freezing! And I'm wearing my button ring that you bought me. Lucky you're my bestie or I wouldn't let you put that pic up!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe how freezing it was that day compared to the next market we did - where I was sick and almost fainted from the heat lol.
